Coronation Street spoilers: Leanne ATTACKED as Michelle stalker scenes take harrowing turn

Will Chatterton (played by Leon Ockenden) finally came clean to Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) after Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) broke into his house, but were caught out when a neighbour noticed some strange goings-on.

After Will realised that Michelle was behind the break-in, she attempted to lock herself away in one of the rooms, only for him to eventually barge the door down after pushing Leanne down the stairs and knocking her unconscious.

It was Steve who eventually saved the day, with the unlikely hero punching Will to the ground, before the trio managed to flee the property and take Leanne to the nearest hospital.

Despite Leanne and Michelle’s lives being in danger in the explosive scenes which were likened online “to a horror movie” – all talk soon turned to Steve and his almighty punch on Twitter.

One person praised: “Steve McDonald is an absolute star. I knew he had it in him. #coronationstreet.”

“Lmao Steve cracks me up. I miss him and Michelle as a couple #coronationstreet #corrie (sic),” a second shared.

A third wrote: “I want a Steve McDonald please #coronationstreet.”

“Steve McDonald makes #coronationstreet,” yet another gushed.

Coronation Street continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV.
