Kirk (played by Andrew Whyment) was trapped inside the Underworld building when debris rained down on those inside during last night’s dramatic episodes of Coronation Street.
But he couldn’t get out quickly as his leg was trapped underneath some of the rubble on the ITV soap.
On top of that danger, there was also a live power cable sitting dangerously close to water from a burst pipe.
Despite the life-threatening situation, Kirk found time to eat a bag of Mini Cheddars.
Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) shut off the factory’s fuse box to stop the electrical danger before the rest of the roof caved in.
However, despite Kirk’s supposedly trapped state, he managed to walk through the destructed building to safety ahead of the others.
Those watching at home were stunned at how Kirk had managed to free himself and flee so quickly as they took to Twitter to comment.
“Considering Kirk had a heavy girder on his leg he walked out the factory pretty ok. #corrie,” one observed.
Another questioned: “How has Kirk got out? Thought his foot was stuck #Corrie.”
“Love how Kirk’s foot looked pretty stuck and he was in agony, then he comes running out the factory #coronationstreet #corrie,” a third mused.
A fourth joked: “Man like Kirk with those super bionic legs. #strongerthansteel #corrie #hooked.”
“Wasn’t Kirk trapped?!? #Corrie,” a fifth asked.
Although Kirk and the rest of those trapped managed to escape with their lives, the same couldn’t be said for tragic Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia).
Rana’s body was pinned down by a part of the fallen building leaving her unable to move.
Tragically, she died on the day she was set to marry Kate Connor (Faye Brookes).
Kate was by her side for her last moments where the pair exchanged vows.
A heartbroken Kate told Rana: “You’re everything to me, my whole life. Someone said love is one soul in two bodies and that’s us.
“I can’t exist without you. You are the most beautiful person in the whole world. And you look a million times better than I do.
“And then I was going to go on to say I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. All my love, always.”
Coronation Street continues Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
