It comes after it was revealed that .

Speaking about David’s struggle to be intimate with Shona, actress Julia told Radio Times: “Shona thinks she is the problem – she thinks that he doesn’t want to be with her anymore and that he’s just not telling her.

“So because of this she’s not feeling great about herself which makes her snappy and moody as well because she feels like she’s being lied to.

“It’s a nail in the coffin for her because she feels that she doesn’t want to be in their relationship anymore.

“She really does love him with all of her being, but he’s turned around and said that he doesn’t love her. So she’s very adamant that this is the end.”

Coronation Street continues Wednesday on ITV at 7.30pm.
