Sarah (played by Tina O’Brien) isn’t involved in a full blown affair with Adam (Sam Robertson) but she did go back to his flat recently on Coronation Street where he tried to kiss her, and this would undoubtedly anger and upset Gary (Mikey North).
One resident of the Street who knows about this blossoming chemistry is Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
And he has issued a threat to Sarah about exposing the pair of them following a tumultuous turn in his life.
Last night’s instalment of the ITV soap saw Seb devastated after his plea to adopt his younger siblings, Charlie and Lexi, was refused.
It came after he had a major falling out with his mother Abi (Sally Carman) and Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) at the yard.
But it happened as Gary was arriving with a client, who was unimpressed by the ruckus and took his business elsewhere.
Subsequently, Gary fired Seb who went on to lie about his employment situation in court.
But before the case verdict was confirmed, Seb could be seen goading Sarah by threatening to tell Gary the truth.
When Sarah took him to task on it, Seb admitted he was desperate.
In the custody hearing, Abi stepped in to expose the truth about Seb’s circumstances and so Seb did not gain custody of his brother and sister.
Once the verdict was delivered, Seb was completely crushed and he lashed out at his mother.
Later that evening, Sarah turned up to find Seb sitting alone and offered him some words of comfort.
Although, Sarah’s kindness will not be repaid as Seb will spill the beans in Friday’s episode.
Poor Sarah will be devastated as despite their struggles, she does really love Gary.
Only time will tell if the pair manage to make it through this rocky patch.
Could Seb live to regret his decision?
Elsewhere on the soap, last night’s episode also saw Abi get together with Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne).
Emotional Abi was after a shoulder to cry on and told Peter she wanted it to be him.
Before long, Peter went in for a kiss and the two were getting passionate in his boat.
Coronation Street continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
