Coronation Street viewers watched on in shock on Monday as Seb (played by Harry Visinoni) was tricked by Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre) into thinking it was Anna (Debbie Rush) who pushed him from the ladder.
Tonight’s episode is now going to see the police quiz Anna on a crime she didn’t commit, with her calmly attempting to answer all of their questions.
However, things could go a little bit pear-shaped as Anna then tells police that she’s never stepped foot in the solicitor’s so couldn’t have pushed Seb – not knowing that Pat had already hidden her earring in the office.
And with Anna’s exit storyline seemingly around the corner and new filming pictures showing her being arrested by police, could Pat be about to have her locked up?
The latest Corrie news comes after Pat lied to Seb while he was unconscious and told him it was Anna who pushed him from the ladder.
As Seb lay lifeless and unresponsive, the villain told him: “Seb, Seb. Hey, take it easy buddy. You gave us a terrible fright.”
He then lurched forward and said in Seb’s ear that Anna was behind his injuries as she “wants him dead”.
He continued: “Anna Windass hates you. She wants you dead. You hear me?
“Anna Windass wants you dead. She pushed you off that ladder!”
As soon as Seb woke up, he recalled to his girlfriend Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) the words that were in his mind.
He yelped: “Your mum. No, no. Anna wants me dead. She pushed me off that ladder!”
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
