In scenes to air later this week, Nathan’s plan to exploit Bethany (Lucy Fallon) to become part of a sex ring takes a turn for the worse when he sets her up to sleep with his friend Neil Clifton (Ben Cartwright).
And the dark plot may become even more twisted when he shows up again, but this time with his friend.
In next week’s episodes of the ITV soap, fans will see Bethany’s mother Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) visit her at the salon.
She tells her daughter that although she doesn’t approve of her relationship she will always support her.
But after she leaves, she gets an unwelcome visit from Neil who arrives with his friend Ian.
What does he want with Bethany? Will she get lured into sleeping with Ian?
Despite the current shocking storyline, the actress who plays the school girl revealed it is about to get even worse.
Lucy told The Metro: “We filmed a really big week coming up with Duncan Foster [director] – if you think this is bad, there are worse things to come, particularly emotionally.”
However, the star did admit Bethany begins to think something is up with her boyfriend Nathan after he encouraged her to spend a night with his friend.
She continued: “From that point, there are little things that make her think that this isn’t right.
“She isn’t stupid, but because his influence on her is so big, it outweighs her thoughts. But she starts to think something isn’t right.”
