Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) drives his taxi nearby and luckily spots his sister-in-law in the messy state.
Gina is expected to return the soap after a long absence and was last seen on the Cobbles in 1989 when she left to marry a lorry driver.
Her return is set to cause fireworks on the Street as fans believe she will be unveiled as Sally Metcalfe’s (Sally Dynevor) online troll.
Sally has been going through hell on Coronation Street at the hands of her bully, even receiving a dead heart from the mystery stalker.
Now fans are convinced that Gina is behind the dark storyline and have taken to Twitter to air their thoughts.
One posted: “#CoronationStreet OK let’s put you all out of your misery Sally’s stalker is her long lost sister Gina.”
A second agreed, tweeting: “Changed my mind. It’s not that Jenny Bradley. It’s Sally’s sister Gina who is the troll. #Corrie. #CoronationStreet.”
It’s been reported that Gina will become gripped by a new drug that is sweeping the nation, called Spice.
The withdrawal effects are believed to be worse than coming off heroin.
It will not be the first time the soap has addressed hard-hitting topics as Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) is currently entwined in a harrowing sex ring scandal.
Brutal Nathan (Chris Harper) is currently grooming the school girl before he gives her to his twisted clients.
