Coronation Street spoiler: Bethany Platt's ENTIRE family in danger as THIS villain returns

As Nathan Curtis (played by Christopher Harper) tried to traffic Bethany (Lucy Fallon) out of the country, he was swiftly arrested.

However, all was not solved as groomer Neil Clifton (Ben Cartwright) was the police officer looking after the case.

As Bethany was brought in for “a chat” with a friendly detective, she was warned by Neil to keep him out of it or he would seek revenge on her family.

Fans of the soap will know that Neil was the first of Nathan’s clients after he plotted a story and forced her to sleep with him.

With Neil watching on the station cameras, Bethany did not feel comfortable talking about what had happened, even referring to him as Paul.

Shaken by her traumatic day, Bethany bolted from the police station and demanded to go home.

As the detective offered to reschedule, the schoolgirl revealed that she won’t ever be answering more questions about her ordeal.

Does this mean that Neil is off the hook for good? Is the police officer too protected at work with a network of connections?

Loyal friend and member of the force, Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) will soon start realising that his colleague Neil was involved.

But as we have previously revealed, will Neil wipe Craig out of the picture and kill him off before he can expose everything?

continues this Friday on at 7.30pm.
