Coronation Street news: Catherine Tyldesley drops HUGE Eva Price spoiler 'I'm so lucky!'

Catherine Tyldesley revealed that her character Eva Price will not be killed off Coronation Street.

The 34-year-old actress said the “the door is being left open” for her to return to the ITV drama series.

In an interview with Loose Women, she told the all female panelists: “As far as I’m aware the door is being left open, which I’m truly grateful for.

“It’s like a second home to me. I’d love to see her (Eva) when she’s 80-odd, boobs up to her eyeballs!”

Catherine, who announced she was quitting the long-running soap in December, said she was not unhappy with the job.

She explained: “It’s a huge change. I’ll have been there nearly eight years by the time I leave. I adore that place. It’s not a question of me not being happy,” she explained.

“I’m so lucky. I’ve loved absolutely every second of it. We’ve got the most amazing things coming up.”

During her appearance, Catherine also revealed that the soap has counsellors on set to help actors cope with harrowing stories.

“We have some storylines at the moment that are very difficult,” Catherine began. “But we’re very well looked after and there is a counsellor on set for anybody that needs it.

“Cast and crew can go to speak to them if they feel that they need that.”

However, the soap star has not used the therapist herself, adding: “I’ve not felt the need, but it’s good to know that somebody is there, should I wish to.”

Later Catherine shocked the ITV show by confessing that she is a huge fan of vaginal meditation.

My friend was telling me about this new group she attended. It was a special type of meditation,” she said.

“You raise your legs up a little bit like going to see a gynaecologist. It’s vaginal meditation, so who knew!”

Catherine’s character Eva is currently at the centre of a secret baby deal with Toyah Battersby (played by Georgia Taylor).

Eva has agreed to give her baby to Toyah, whose surrogate suffered a miscarriage, but it has caused troubles in her relationship with Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).

Coronation Street continues Monday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
