Alex introduced the pair by saying: “Time now for our big Strictly exclusive and it’s all for a brilliant cause.”
The One Show’s Gethin chimed in: “It is and to tell us all about it are two people who have made it their mission to get the nation dancing…”
Alex then stepped in and excitedly shouted: “It’s our favourite double act, it’s Tess and Claudia!”
The pair received a round of applause from those inside the BBC studios as their faces appeared on a screen via a video link.

However, at this point, The One show hosts began to experience difficulties in hearing Claudia’s response.
Breaking up as she responded, Claudia said: “I don’t have… I don’t know what…I apologise…”
Noticing the awkward silence caused by the technical error, Gethin quipped: “This is like Skyping with parents.”
Alex agreed before promptly cutting Claudia off and moving the conversation on.
