The 82-year-old former Great British Bake Off judge was back to deliver more of her “soothing and much-loved home comfort delights”.
After indulging her love of comfort food with homely recipes, Mary invited Swedish fire-chef Niklas Esktedt to share “the joys of caveman cooking” with her.
Mary soon found herself outside by an open fire enjoying his “inventive venison meatballs” with blackened celeriac and “mouthwatering Swedish donuts”.
However, fans were distracted after Mary directed a few steamy innuendos at Niklas.
The “flirty” host didn’t hold back with her suggestive comments.
At one point, Mary said: “It’s a long time since I’ve had a man on his knees in front of me.”
In another scene, Mary quipped: “Well, it’s your meatballs you’re rolling,” before adding: “I like a little bit of sauce.”
Fans were in hysterics by the time she added: “No one’s keener to see inside there than me.”
After heading off into the woods together, Niklas pointed out a birch tree and revealed uses for the wood other than fire.
He said: “Branches like this, these leaves, these are what we use in the sauna.”
Pulling a branch down, Niklas continued: “To get … you know, to whip each other.”
An excited Mary giggled: “That sounds exciting, how do you do it, then?”
Viewers instantly took to social media following Mary’s Nigella Lawson-type comments.
One viewer tweeted: “Mary Berry is flat out flirting with the hot Swedish chef on #MaryBerryclassics right now ‘oooh I like a bit of sauce’ Bet you do Mary.”
“The level of flirt going on here is making 50 shades look like mills and boon,” posted another.
A third added: “I legit think that Mary Berry made the weather cold so that everybody would watch her programme tonight.”
“Mary Berry is such a saucy little minx, she’s so flirty, I love her,” wrote another, as a fifth said: “Mary Berry is pure filth this evening #ClassicMaryBerry.”
Classic Mary Berry continues next Monday on BBC One at 8.30pm.
