Christine Lampard reveals stalker thought they were MARRIED until husband Frank stepped in

Speaking on today’s Loose Women, the host said she felt “freaked out” after he followed her to a hotel after previously trying to get in contact with her.

The 38-year-old admitted that her husband Frank had to step in at the time and spoke to the male, who they have not heard from since.

During a discussion on the changes to Snapchat, Christine commented: “I was away filming and Frank was with me.

“There was a chap who had been trying to get in contact with me for a while – he thought we were married.”

Christine continued: “There was obviously problems in his own life and his own mind. He randomly turned up at the hotel we were staying in, which does freak you out because you think there’s a sense of someone knowing where you are.

“Frank did go out and said, ‘Look, you’ve got to stop this. This isn’t normal behaviour’. We haven’t heard anything since.”

During the debate, Penny Lancaster also told of a moment that left her “terrified” when she was followed by photographers shortly after the birth of her son, Alastair.

The 46-year-old said: “I was followed by two cars that were parked outside of my house… we do get followed and papped, but this was particularly scary,” stating that they drove dangerously close to her and her newborn.

During the instalment, the mother of Danielle Jones, who was murdered by her uncle aged 15, got emotional as she discussed being “in limbo for 16 years”.

The teenager disappeared on June 18, 2001, and never returned. It was later revealed she has been killed by her uncle, who still refuses to reveal where her body is.

As part of Helen’s Law, her mum is now campaigning for a revision of the parole system, preventing those that are convicted to be unable to apply for parole if they fail to reveal all they know.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
