Celebrity MasterChef viewers SLAM BBC show after RAW food is served again

Comedian Abdullah Afzal was in the firing line from the judges after serving a combination of dishes including uncooked chicken and garlic.

Upon inspecting his food, fellow contestant and Gogglebox star Reverend Kate Bottley was seen gasping and covering her mouth at the judges’ unexpected reactions.

John Torode explained: “Your chicken leg and thigh is undercooked. Your breast is just cooked because you didn’t give it enough time. It was only in the oven for 20 minutes.

“Your sauce. You have lumps of uncooked flour. You have lumps of uncooked garlic and, to add insult to injury, you put hot chilli sauce inside it.”

Gregg Wallace added: “This dish really, it started badly, the middle wasn’t great and then it kind of fell away at the end.”

One horrified viewer tweeted: “#CelebrityMasterchef Dear god no… he’s cooking chicken again… doctors are on standby!”

“Comedy gold tonight, raw chicken, raw garlic and milk sauce. #celebritymasterchef,” posted another.

A third wrote: “RAW CHICKEN #celebritymasterchef,” as another disgusted viewer added: “Oooh Raw Pigeon, how appetising…. #celebritymasterchef.”

As the show went on, raw garlic, chicken, pigeon and cauliflower were all served, leaving viewers feeling queazy.

One fan of the show tweeted: “Not too keen on that raw pigeon #celebritymasterchef,” as another said: “So the chicken was raw, sauce had lumps of raw garlic in. Don’t worry though Ulrika got through on worse #celebritymasterchef.”

A third asked: “Raw cauliflower in an expensive restaurant dish? #celebritymasterchef,” as another added: “Raw lamb again! #celebritymasterchef.”
