Premier League footballer Jermaine Pennant could go head-to-head with Celebrity Big Brother producers after it was revealed he has been secretly communicating with Chloe Ayling.
The 35-year-old winger confessed to having the hots for model Chloe by writing a message in eyeliner on her compact mirror.
In a preview clip for tonight’s show, Chloe could be seen confiding in fellow housemate Rodrigo Alves about her interaction with Jermaine.
Hiding behind a small pillow as she laid on a bed beside Rodrigo, 35, Chloe whispered: “I need to tell you something.”
Encouraging her to spill the beans, an eager Rodrigo replied: “Go on tell me!”
Speaking about Jermaine, she continue: “He got the eyeliner and wrote on the powder. He said: ‘I like you’.
“I was like ‘since when’ and he was like ‘day one’.”
Rodrigo added: “So basically you and Jermaine have been communicating via eyeliner… well honey let’s keep it coming.”
Jermaine’s flirty behaviour may come as a shock to his wife Alice Goodwon, who supported him on Celebrity Big Brother Bit On The Side hours after launch night.
The move could also mean he is disciplined by Channel 5 bosses for secretly messaging Chloe, although it is unclear whether he has broken any house rules.
Express.co.uk has contacted Celebrity Big Brother representatives for comment.
Fans hit out at Jermaine online after the video surfaced, with one tweeting: “So people are so distracted by Natalie [Nunn] that we’re going to ignore Jermaine’s flirty note to Chloe whilst his wife watches at home? Slimy!”
“Jermaine has a whole wife, yet he is writing little love notes to Chloe? Sauceless movement,” another added.
A third said: “[The celebrities] are all in to other people when they are meant to have partners on the outside. Now Jermaine and Chloe but that was obvious from day one that he wasn’t going to be loyal to his wife.”
Someone else fumed: “I thought that preview of Jermaine saying he likes Chloe was really cute until I’ve just read he’s MARRIED! Looks like Natalie isn’t the only one playing up to camera time in there.”
Prior to entering the Big Brother house Jermaine published a book, titled ‘Mental: Bad Behaviour. Ugly Truths and the Beautiful Game’.
In the autobiography he criticised Rafa Benitez, who managed Liverpool between 2006 and 2009, comparing him to a “nightmare”.
He said: “When you have so many instructions, it makes it so difficult. You’ve got some instructions and tactics in your mind and yet he’s shouting even more at you. All of a sudden you’re confused.
“You’ve got two sets of instructions in your mind and you’re left wondering what to do. It means that, suddenly, you mess up with a simple pass because your mind is all over the place.
“Honestly, Rafa was a nightmare like that.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm.
