The Made in Chelsea star has been getting closer to the American singer ever since the pair entered the Channel 5 series’ lavish house, but tonight saw the latter take things further and plant a small peck on his housemate’s cheek.
The surprising moment came as bosses tasked the house with entering into a game of traditional 1950s gender roles, which tasked the women with dressing up and the men going off to slave away at a makeshift factory.
Following a brief lunch break, Ginuwine decided to give his “honey” a kiss goodbye as he headed back to “work”.
Shocked, the 30-year-old DJ appeared unsure of how to react to the manoeuvre, but she played along.
Once the fun and games were over, which saw the women conducting their own secret mission to perform better at the factory and beat the boys’ team at cake decorating, the apparent couple could be seen getting cosy once more.
Seemingly deciding to clear the matter up once and for all however, Ashley went to the diary room to explain how she’s really feeling about the father-of-nine.
“I’m enjoying flirting with him yes,” she admitted. “There’s obviously a connection between us, but that could just be friendship.”
The social media influencer went on to say that she hopes fans won’t expect things to heat up any further, because she’s not looking for a “house romance”.
“He’s really nice,” she said. “But I wouldn’t get excited Big Brother because I definitely do not want a house romance.”
“Valentine’s day is just around the corner,” she added with a glint in her eye.
Later however, the celebrity couldn’t tear herself away from watching the songwriter flirt from his bed.
In full view via a floor-to-ceiling window, Ginuwine grinned at the star before beckoning her to get into bed with him.
Enjoying the games too much, Ashley simply shook her head as she continued to tease him through the glass pane.
Following fellow housemate Malika Haqq’s request, Ashley then proceeded to plant a big kiss on the window towards her faux boyfriend before turning away once more.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on Channel 5.
