The monobrowed man was thrown into the limelight when he was chosen to take part in 2016’s The Apprentice.
The 34-year-old was praised by viewers for his quirky attitude to business, often believing himself to be the best, despite being fired relatively early on in the show.
He told Alan Sugar that “he’d make a good Prime Minister” as well as vowing to never pluck his eyebrow – something that he appears to have adhered to.
“I’ve got a nice big monobrow, for the last ten years people have been telling me, pluck it out, be like everyone else,” Karthik said.
The businessman continued: “But Karthik – or the Big K – is not someone who is like everybody else, everybody else wants to be like Karthik.
“I am competitive as a leader, I believe in being an emperor not a tyrant, so when I enter a certain social scene I immediately take up the leadership role whether or not the crown is placed on my head.”
Despite his confidence, Karthik was fired after seven weeks before Alana Spencer romped to victory.
He was drafted in to this season of Celebrity Big Brother last minute after Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward pulled out.
A Channel 5 source told The Sun at the time: “Dawn may have done reality TV in the past but she got cold feet about doing CBB.
“[Karthik] is a real character and will really shake things up.
“He says what he thinks and will be a real asset to the house,” they concluded.
Celebrity Big Brother airs nightly on Channel 5.
