The former Hollyoaks regular was blasted on Twitter after giving his controversial reason for nominating the YouTube star in the Diary Room.
Speaking to Big Brother, the 39-year-old commented: “I don’t like the way that she sits around with her whole a***, legs… all naked like… just completely hangs out.”
Paul went on: “I don’t quite trust her… I’m a bit scared of her,” however it wasn’t long before he was branded “nasty” by those watching at home.
Many were quick to point out that he didn’t have a problem with his other co-stars being scantily-clad on the Channel 5 show.
“Did Paul Danan really just bodyshame Trisha? Nasty human #cbb,” one user stated as another agreed: “I find Paul’s dress sense more uncomfortable to see than Trisha’s body hanging out! #cbb.”
A third tweeted: “Wow Paul. So Jemma [Lucy] can walk around with nearly nothing on but Trisha can’t? Double standards much #CBB.”
“I think Paul needs to be spoken to about bodyshaming Trisha and I think they’re preying on the weak with Sarah [Harding],” a further person shared.
