Meghan Markle is the stunning actress who has stolen the heart of the fifth-in-line to the British throne, Prince Harry.

The 36-year-old actress will tie the knot in May, and Britons and many other Royal Family fans from all over the globe will be watching.

Meghan Markle’s wedding day will be the first day of her life that she is permitted to wear a royal tiara.

All royal brides wear the stunning royal jewels on their wedding day, from Princess Diana to Zara Tindall.

Kelly Lynch, royal expert and managing editor at Dailybreak, said: “When the word ‘crown’ is mentioned I think of sovereigns, coronations and the state opening of Parliament.

“That particular word is reserved for one who rules. As for a tiara, Meghan will have access to the Queen’s personal collection for formal occasions.”

Camilla Parker-Bowles is often seen wearing her favourite tiara, however, the younger generation have not embraced the bling headgear with some fervour.

Kelly said: “I’m hoping she takes advantage of this unique opportunity on more than one occasion, since it’s widely known that the Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t much like wearing a tiara.

“Fans love to see a little sparkle because it really brings the fantasy of royal jewels to life.

“Also, keep a lookout for new jewellery after Meghan marries Harry.

“The Duchess of Cambridge wore some of the Queen’s pieces on her first royal tour in 2011, and it was very exciting to look up the history behind each piece.”

Which tiara could Meghan Markle wear on her wedding day?

There are number of tiara’s Meghan could wear, including the Cartier Halo tiara, the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara and the Lotus Flower tiara.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding invitations have been sent out, and the couple shared a picture of the invites on Twitter.
