Meghan Markle, 33, will marry Prince Harry, 33, on 19 of May at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The actress was relatively unknown in the UK before her relationship with the fifth-in-line to the British throne. LA-born Meghan played the role of sexy paralegal Rachel Zane in cable drama Suits.
The stunning actress was also reportedly in the line up to play a Bond girl before news the relationship broke.
The Sun revealed that Meghan was shortlisted to star opposite Daniel Craig in the franchise worth between £1.5 billion and £3.7 billion.
A source said: “Meghan fits the role of a Bond girl perfectly. She’s glamorous and sexy and a good actress.
“The role more recently has gone to actresses deemed to be rising stars, and Meghan certainly was seen as that before her relationship with Harry became public.”
They added: “Her engagement effectively spelt an end to her acting career too so that was the final blow.”
Evidently, industry professionals aren’t banking on Meghan taking up any more acting roles recently, and she has quit her role in Suits.
