Can Deadpool or Wolverine regrow his own penis? His creator gives a graphic answer

We saw Deadpool start to regrow his whole hand after it was cut off during the movie. Predictably, it even lead to a rather filthy joke about masturbation.

But what if Deadpool’s actual penis was chopped off?

After all, everything would have been pretty badly burned in that original warehouse fire.

The clever man who actually created the character for Marvel has just answered that very question about the cockiest superhero on the planet.

Liefeld is currently promoting the upcoming new graphic novel, Deadpool: Bad Blood.

It will come as no surprise that he is just as bluntly spoken and unshockable as his most famous creation.

Liefeld told Inverse: “Yes, yes. We would never, ever live in a world where Deadpool can’t regenerate his own c*** and b***s.”

He also pointed out that Wolverine can do the same but with one very big difference.

We saw his reproductive organs blasted off by the appropriatey-named The Punisher in one memorable Marvel comic book outing (Punisher #17 by Garth Ennis). It was a simple but effective method of temporarily disabling the mutant, with the comment that: “They’ll grown back.”

Wolverine’s own regenrative powers, however have been augmented by the sinister work of the Weapon X team of scientists.

Liefeld added: “The adamantium skeleton gives you a whole different dimension on Wolverine.”

Liefeld also handlily explained what would happen if someone inconveniently chopped Deadpool’s head off. Would the body grown a new head or vice versa?

He said: “He would generate a new head, and I’m telling you, he would generate a new head.”

Deadpool 2 is due in cinemas next year.
