British Soap Awards 2018 worst dressed: TV stars flash ACRES of flesh on the red carpet

The British Soap Awards 2018 saw a host of badly dressed celebrities making style disasters on the red carpet.

Some of the small screens’ best known actors and actresses made their way into The Hackney Empire in London in the hope of winning a gong.

But many had lost before the ceremony even started with bad fashion choices which led them to join the list of worst dressed celebrities.

The cast of Doctors were some of the first to arrive, and sadly many of the women from the show did not get style proceedings off well.

Sarah Moyle chose a black dress with Chinese floral print – but the body pattern and red colour clashed with the carpet.

Andrea Gordon also chose red, wearing a red and black leopard print gown with a bizarre silver panel at the waist.

Fleur Keith, from Emmerdale, chose a blue lace Ganni dress, which aged the stunning star.

Laura Norton, 34, wore a sheer lace mini dress with a 60s vibe. Unfortunately she paired this with a black bra which was clearly visible underneath the delicate dress.

Doctors veteran Elisabeth Dermot Walsh, 43, chose a glamorous black dress with a deep V neck which showed off acres of cleavage.

And she wasn’t the only one to flash the flesh, with Coronation Street’s Katie McGlynn, 24, opting for a very revealing silk gown.

As well as being backless, the dress featured a deep V neck and was slashed to the thigh.

Sarah Jayne Dunn, 36, wore a gorgous mint freen gown – but sadly paired it with a bizarre sculptural hairdo that looked like it belonged on Star Trek.

It wasn’t all a disaster on the red carpet, with many of the women making the best dressed at the British Soap Awards red carpet.

Tilly Keeper, 20, stunned in a hot pink silk dress which she paired with a casual updo.

Eastenders favourite Gillian Taylforth, 62, also looked sensational in a fitted red gown which showed off her fantastic figure.

The ceremony will be broadcast tonight, and will air live on ITV at 8pm.

The awards show will be presented by This Morning host Phillip Schofield.

For those who miss the awards show there will be a chance to catch up.

It is likely that the show will be available on the ITV Hub shortly after broadcast.

Anyone wanting to vote in the show however, has missed out as voting it now closed.
