Britain's Got Talent: Alesha Dixon defies backlash as she goes BRALESS in risqué frock

The 38-year-old ITV judge came dangerously close to a disastrous wardrobe malfunction in her floor-length gold frock, which featured a very daring thigh-high split.

Flashing an eyeful of her slender pins, the raven-haired beauty also flaunted her cleavage and décolletage in the revealing number, as she opted to go braless.

Alesha drew even more attention to her bust as she accessorised with a long, delicate gold necklace and earrings.

Wearing her hair in a stylish bun on the top of her head, the Britain’s Got Talent beauty oozed sex appeal as she turned up the glamour with sultry eye make-up and bold pink lipstick.

She slipped into a pair of killer metallic stilettos for the occasion, further elongating her seemingly endless pins.

The sexy fashion choices made by Alesha and Amanda during the live semi-finals week have attracted a lot of attention and caused a significant amount of controversy.

On Thursday night, Amanda’s eye-poppingly busty backless gown received over 200 complaints to Ofcom as furious viewers flooded to social media to criticise her for flashing the flesh before the watershed.

Piers Morgan, 52, however, took to Twitter earlier today to share his support for the sexy ensembles dominating screens this week.

“I share the nation’s outrage over @AmandaHolden’s wardrobe on @BGT,” he tweeted, before cheekily adding: “She looks outrageously good.”

His comments divided Twitter users, much as the outfits themselves have done, with one furious person replying: “No she doesn’t!!! It’s totally unnecessary to dress like this. Totally inappropriate. Attention seeking women. Gives women a bad reputation.”

Another, however, backed Piers’ opinion of the jaw-dropping look, tweeting: “She looks stunning. People need to get a grip. There’s a lot of other relevant things to moan about. Can’t wait for tonight’s outfit.”

Britain’s Got Talent concludes with the grand final tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
