Britain’s Got Talent 2017: Acrobatic duo’s past victory as Golden Buzzer act EXPOSED

The duo easily sailed through with four yeses from judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, with their jaw-dropping gymnastics.

However, when they auditioned for the debut series of Asia’s Got Talent in 2015, they received an even greater response, earning golden buzzer from former judge Melanie C.

What’s more, Gao and Liu yanked up the drama by even getting engaged on stage after being showered in celebratory confetti.

Though, this isn’t the first time an internationally reknown Got Talent act has caused ripples in the UK version of Simon Cowell’s franchise.

Last year daredevil sword-swallower Alex Malaga made it all the way to the Britain’s Got Talent finals, after previously competing on France’s Got Talent, Ukraine’s Got Talent and Russia’s Got Talent, which he went on to win.

Also on last night’s particularly nail-biting episode, viewers were devastated as a young Harry Potter fan didn’t inspire any of the judges to hit their golden buzzer

Issy Simpson, who hopes to become a real-life Hermione Granger, left Simon speechless by correctly guessing which card from a full deck he’d randomly pluck out before she even walked on stage.

Instead, dance troupe Just Us from the Wirral, melted Alesha Dixon’s heart after their young frontwoman opened up about her spinal condition, which will eventually mean she’s no longer able to perform soon after the competition has come to a an end.

Just Us join Sarah Ikumu, who earned the same accolade from Simon following her enormous rendition of the Dreamgirls number And I Am Telling You.

Britain’s Got Talent continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
