Bright on Netflix: Fans angry THIS wasn't shown before movie – New video explains all

Bright was panned by critics but has been a surprisingly big hit with fans.

The quirky Will Smith vehicle features a complicated alternate world where magic is real and creatures like orcs and fairies live alongside humans in an uneasy truce.

The new Netflix movie threw viewers in at the deep end and many found themselves struggling to understand what on (alternate) Earth was going on.

Even the hardcore fans have admitted that this new video should have been part of the original presentation, with one blasting: “Yeah, this kinda sucks seeing it after the film.”

The video, called Bright: History of Magic, explains the complkicated backdrop to the world portrayed on screen.

It covers millenia of history and reveals when and why magic was banned. It also gives much more information about the mysterious wands that are at the centre of Bright.

Fans reacted with great frustration when this video was released days after Bright was launched.

Comments included:

“This needs to be somewhat implemented into the movie. This context is needed to get more out of the movie.”

“Why wasn’t this in the beginning of the movie?!!!…they could’ve easily put this as a history lesson video that his daughter was watching at school or something.”

“We need a prequel series with complex and compelling characters along with a well detail history of the world itself.”

“This would have been useful in the film, just saying it lacked a bit of backstory in the film but would’ve filled that gap in the film.”

“Yeah this kinda sucks seeing it after the film, would have added more context.”
