Black Mirror season 4: First look photos REVEALED as Charlie Brooker meets STAR TREK

With the episode titles dropping last month, the two pictures come from “USS Callister” and “Arkangel” and provide plenty for the show’s cult following to pour over.

First, it seems that the Netflix hit will be delving into the world of Star Trek, as the crew of USS Callister look oddly familiar.

Dressed in colourful uniforms resembling those of the sci-fi hit, Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, Michaela Coel and Billy Magnussen strike a pose on their futuristic craft.

Fans can be sure that the deep-space teaser will come good as the episode is directed by Doctor Who veteran, Toby Haynes.

The second of the picture hints at what’s to come from Jodie Foster’s debut on the show in “Arkangel”.

Written by Brooker himself, the tantalising teaser shows a young blonde girl about to have something injected into her brain.

Looking set to be a dark dystopia that Black Mirror is so good at, fans will not want to miss one of the most hyped episodes of the season.

Whilst little is known of character information or specific plot outlines, the four other episode titles hint at darkness to come.

“Crocodile”, “Hang the DJ”, “Metalhead” and “Black Museum” will complete the highly anticipated fourth season.

Black Mirror is expected to land on Netflix later this year.
