Bethesda E3 2017: Starfield game, Wolfenstein news, Evil Within 2, Elders Scrolls, Fallout

Scheduled for the early hours of Monday, June 12, Bethesda’s showcase looks set to include plenty of news on sequels to the Evil Within and Wolfenstein franchises, plus the return of a big fan favourite.

The big Bethesda E3 2017 live stream event starts at 5am BST but isn’t likely to run as long as either Sony or Microsoft’s shows.

You can watch all the action live by using the embed link above, it should be noted that delays are possible when it comes to such big live streams events.

While fans have been hoping to see The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim arrive on Xbox One Backward Compatibility, the next best thing could be announced tomorrow.

Nintendo Switch fans may finally get to see more of the new Elder Scrolls port coming to the handheld console, although there’s the chance it’ll skip to Nintendo’s own event,

The game’s supposed to be coming out in Fall 2017, so big update tonight would make for perfect timing.

Other Elder Scrolls franchise news will come from Tamriel Unlimited, which will have some kind of new content announcement.

Bethesda managed to surprise everyone by revealing Fallout 4’s arrival in 2015, they also managed to keep a tie-in mobile game, Fallout Shelter, secret until the day of their showcase.

And there have been some wild rumours online that claim a new Bethesda Starfield game will be announced.

The premise of this new title is to join the universes of Fallout and Elder Scrolls, although nothing else from Bethesda has suggested something as big that will be announced.

Away from that, Fallout 4 fans will want to tune in and see what’s new with the virtual reality project.

It’s likely we’ll both see and hear more from the production team, as well as a possible release date.

Fans of the Wolfenstein and Evil Within franchises will also win big tonight as both are likely to see sequels announced.

Expect some Evil Within 2 release date news and details on whatever the new Wolfenstein setting is going to be.

“At Bethesda, we’re all about transporting you to fantastical worlds of wonderment and fun. We’ve traveled with you to outer space in Prey, the depths of Hell in DOOM, the volcanic island of Vvardenfell in The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, and the edge of the world in Dishonored 2,” Bethesda teased earlier this year.

“And now, on the evening of Sunday, June 11, we’ll be taking you on a special tour of Bethesdaland!

“This year our E3 Showcase will give you a chance to experience our world. From the moment the gates open at 6.30pm PT, we have a special night in store for you that’s packed with fun – and, of course, games!

“You’ll have the opportunity to mix and mingle in Bethesdaland, see what we’ve been working on, then enjoy a live musical performance from a top-secret act.”
