Bethesda E3 2017 lineup REVEALED? Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein suddenly seem VERY likely

Bethesda’s plans may have been revealed by an unlikely source.

A series of Steam tweets may have given fans a clue about what to expect during Bethesda’s conference at E3 2017.

The Evil Within is currently on sale for just £7.49 as part of Steam’s midweek madness promotion.

In a tweet that has since been deleted by Steam, Wolfenstein will also be discounted on the weekend.

While it’s pure speculation at this point, the timing would suggest that both Evil Within and Wolfenstein will receive sequels during E3.

Wolfenstein developer MachineGames is known to be working on a new game, while The Evil Within website was recently updated for the first time in a couple of years.

Interestingly, the updated content is password protected, which suggests Bethesda and developer Tango Gameworks have something big planned.

Bethesda is also believed to be working on a new game called Starfield, which will reportedly bridge the gap between Fallout and Elder Scrolls.

“The game has actually been in conceptual stages since around Fallout 3’s release,” a leaker posted on 4Chan. “It went into pre-production officially very low-tier pre-production after Skyrim’s Release. After Fallout 4’s release, it went into full pre-production, and after all the DLC was out, they sped into full development.

“The game is going to be a sci-fi open world RPG in typical Bethesda first-person fashion. It’s going to feature five to ten races.

“This is part of an ongoing planned interconnected universe of every Bethesda franchise. They gave hints of this by implying the Brotherhood of Steel created nirnroot in Fallout 4.

“Basically, Fallout is the beginning of the timeline, Starfield is the middle, and Elder Scrolls is Far Future.

“The game will feature space travel and hub worlds as well as RNG worlds.”

Bethesda’s big new game will be the focus of an E3 Coliseum presentation on June 13.

“Join Bethesda Softworks for a look at a newly announced title that will be seen for the first time at their E3 2017 Showcase.”

Fallout VR will also be at the event, and there are even rumours of Elder Scrolls VR, although nothing’s been confirmed.

You can tune in to Bethesda’s E3 2017 conference at 3am UK time on June 12.
