BBC weather: Dan Walker admires Carol Kirkwood’s clingy frock during forecast: ‘Lovely!'

Her choice of outfit caught the attention of BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker who complimented the 55-year-old after getting the colour of sports presenter Sally Nugent’s frock completely wrong.

Dan said to the meteorologist: “Lovely purple dress by the way Carol.”

“Thank you very much Dan. You’re not looking too bad yourself,” replied the weather presenter.

Addressing the funny conversation, Dan said: “Managed to get myself in a hole there whilst trying to be nice. I’m aware of this issue always happens, it’s early morning.”

Delivering the forecast, Carol told viewers it will be a breezy day for those in the north and west and those parts will also see sunshine and showers whereas in the south and east of England, there will be rain and it will feel much cooler than yesterday.

In Scotland and Northern Ireland this morning, there will be clear skies but rain will be persistent in the south with it being 13 degrees celsius in London.

Northern England and Scotland will see bright spells and showers later on in the day and it will feel pleasant.

Northern Ireland, Wales and the south west of England will see fewer showers but also will have some sunny spells.

This evening and overnight, there will be clear skies however some showers will be seen in the west and tomorrow will also see plenty of wet weather across the UK.
