The meteorologist left her co-star shocked after explaining what she had in store for December 25.
Naga, 42, quizzed Carol, 55, on her plans for Christmas day, asking: “How much prep have you done for the big feast you’re putting on?”
“Absolutely none because I’m eating out. It’s got to be done, it’s too much,” Carol replied.
A giggling Naga responded, saying: “I knew it. You’re a wise woman.”
Before co-host Charlie Stayt, 55, quipped: “It’s one way to avoid all the stresses and strains of Christmas.”
Elsewhere, fans of the BBC show were going wild for Carol’s sparkling festive ensemble.
Those watching inundated the star with compliments, with one tweeting: “Good morning Carol Kirkwood, looking stunning this morning. Could the day get any better?”
“@carolkirkwood loving the sparkly frock today,” commented another.
A third added: “@carolkirkwood you look stunning this morning.”
The weather woman’s outfit also caught the attention of Naga, who said: “Carol, you’re in sparkling form today. Her inner sparkle has come out.”
However, Carol’s glittery dress didn’t match the weather outside as the popular presenter predicted rain and fog today.
