The pair both star in the new movie version of the classic TV series, which released in the UK last week.
Speaking on KISS FM UK, they were asked to name the best and worst things about working with one-another.
Daddario carefully said: “There’s no parts. Zac was in such good shape.”
However it seems the former High School Musical star’s impressive physique left the others feeling rather awkward.
“Everyone was in such good shape, but we were like ‘we’re not working out enough’,” Daddario added.
“We felt motivated to work out more!”
Efron explained that he would work out every morning, because “on set, it would be like ‘now you’re shirtless’. No warning!”
Daddario quipped: “And I’m standing there with half a croissant hanging out of my mouth.”
Baywatch has enjoyed a wave of publicity over recent weeks but sadly that has not translated to success.
The film was crushed by reviewers and subsequently failed to float at the box office.
