Avengers Infinity War: Will THAT Thor Ragnarok eye twist stick? Kevin Feige speaks out

Spoilers for Thor: Ragnarok ahead.

Speaking in a new interview, Feige addressed the fact that – in some preview footage – Hemsworth has been seen with both eyes in tact.

That’s despite the fact that Thor lost an eye in Ragnarok.

“Some of the commercials for this film have him not missing an eye,” he pointed out.

“So you don’t know what’s going on.

“Like we didn’t want to spoil that in any of the footage we shot.”

On whether his team considered the long-term impact, he said simply: “No, we didn’t think about that.

“We thought about what’s fun for the character. What’s cool for the character. Not ‘Are we sullying our good-looking actor?’

“He looks good in any way. In any way, shape and form.”

Hemsworth had previously indicated that the eye patch is here to stay, saying: “Yeah we carry it into the film with the eye patch you see in this film.”

Avengers Infinity War could be the most anticipated movie of 2018, and its follow-up – the still-untitled Avengers 4 – will follow in 2019.

Thor Ragnarok has been a big success, earning big money at the box office worldwide. Its reviews have also been glowing.

Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum and Mark Ruffalo also star.
