Avengers Infinity War star reveals the moment that made Marvel president Kevin Feige CRY

Fans are bracing themselves for traumatic times ahead and Bettany’s own character Vision is one of those at the greatest risk of death from Thanos and his minions.

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3 reaching its climax, the directors have already warned that there will be some major losses.

Many of the stars and the directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, gathered recently for a spectacular fan event which also screened 20 minutes of the movie.

On the red carpet, Paul Bettany told fans what to expect from Avengers 3 but also revealed a Marvel moment that made the big Marvel boss cry.

Bettany said: “The whole reason the movies get made, the whole reason the movies do well, I think they fell they’re in safe hands with Kevin (Feige) and the team and the Russos.

“It’s a really unique experience for film actors. Usually you work with different people all the time. To work with that many people for some many years.. it’s been a real privilege.”

And what shoulld fans expect from the climax to ten years and 18 movies?

Bettany added: “They can expect the biggest movie of all time. That is what it is. I’ve never been part of anything like it.

“Most film sets feel the same no matter how big the budget it is. This one you were aware of how massive the movie is all the time.”

The British star also explained just how invested Feige is in the franchise when he explained the moment that brought the Marvel president to tears – and it was all about Bettany’s own character, Vision.

Bettany said: “They are movies that are made by fans. When I first came on set to do make up tests for Vision, Kevin Feige, who runs the show, he kind of cried. You know, he’s a real fan.”

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that these will be the last tears that are shed when Infinity War finally hits cinemas later this month.
