The Avengers Infinity War sequel is released in less than a month’s time and fans really want to know when they can book tickets for opening weekend. And now LRM Online’ s multiple sources have confirmed Avengers Endgame tickets will go on sale next Tuesday, April 2. So that’s the US theatres, but what about UK cinemas? Well, Metro asked a few major cinemas chains and here’s what they said.
Vue Cinemas replied to a fan on Twitter: “Currently we do not have a date for the ticket sale release of Avengers: Endgame.
“I would advise to keep an eye out on our website for any further updates!”
Odeon said they had no idea, while Cineworld added: “We are unable to share this information, this is a query better suited for the film distributor.”
Nevertheless, Electric Cinema in London revealed tickets would go on sale on April 11.
Electric Cinema has clarified, however, the date was not given to them by Disney and is for their cinema alone.
A spokesperson at Electric Cinema told Express.co.uk the presale date for all their big screenings take place two weeks prior to the movie’s release date.
Meanwhile, Avengers Endgame’s runtime is rumoured to be over three hours long.
Such a length could mean fewer screenings to choose from when the film is released.
AMC Theatres had the runtime listed at a whopping 182 minutes.
That’s a good twenty minutes longer than Avengers Infinity War but still shorter than The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King’s 200 minutes.
But is three hours long enough for fans? Let’s hope so.
Avengers Endgame will be released in UK cinemas on April 25, 2019.
