Avengers Endgame theory: Is THIS how Peggy Carter will help Captain America?

First introduced in Captain America The First Avenger, Steve Rogers missed out on a life with the woman he loved in Peggy Carter. Unfrozen in the modern day, the two were reunited with Peggy basically on her death bed in Captain America The Winter Soldier. And by the time Civil War came about, she died of old age and we saw the heartbreaking scene of Steve at her funeral. But with arriving in April, will we see Agent Carter return to aide Captain America?

Reddit user jackmico343 theorises: “If you remember, in Captain America [The Winter Soldier], Steve Rogers…reunites with Peggy Carter 70 years later.

“When talking to Peggy, Peggy says a quote of which could help Steve Rogers in Endgame.

“The quote is ‘sometimes the best we can do is start over’.

‘Some of you are clu[e]less right now of why this is important for Endgame. Let me explain…”

The theorist continued: “In the first Endgame trailer, we see Steve Rogers look at [a] Peggy picture from his flip compass.

“This could remind him of the quote from Peggy. That quote could mean that if they go back in time and stop Thanos all over again, that[’]s the best way to win against the Mad Titan.

“This is a way that Peggy can help Steve Rogers and the other Avengers beat Thanos in Endgame, by using her quote.”
