The wait is almost unbearable.
The biggest cliffhanger in cinematic history left fans across the globe devastated as almost all of their beloved heroes were turned to dust by Thanos in the Snap.
Despite months of rumours, leaks and theories, nobody has the faintest idea what will happen next in the Infinity War sequel and all hopes are pinned on the first teaser trailer starting to give us all a clue. Any clue will do…
It was already confirmed that the film’s title will also have a bearing on what happens on screen and it generally expected that the title will be revealed just before the trailer.
Marvel boss Feige has doen a great job of dropping a trail breadcrumbs to keep fans informed about what to expect next, without actually giving anthing away.
At the start of the summer he teased that the Infinity War sequel’s title and first trailer would come after the first Captain Marvel materials. Well, the trailer and first images have been and long gone.
Now an industry figure is reporting a conversation he had with Feige at a special Black Panther screening this week.
Erick Weber asked his followers to suggest questions he could put to Feige and the trailer date was top of the list.
He tweeted the responses later that night: “OK, here we go, 3 quick questions, answers direct from Kevin Feige’s mouth.
“1) AVENGERS 4 trailer ‘before the end of the year.’
“2) Namor COULD make an appearance, still deciding IF and when.
“3) GUARDIANS 3 status ‘on hold.'”
Time has flown, so the end of the year is almost upon us, meaning the first A4 trailer wil arrive withine two months – and very likely well before that. Mid-Decemeber onwards is a blocked up with a succession of huge releases, so the smart money is on the first teaser dropping online next month.
