Avengers 4: THIS hero will have a major role as ‘a fitting END to his story’ Will he die?

As if enough tears haven’t been shed already.

Fans still reeling from Infinity War should brace themselves for some (even more) major losses in Avengers 4.

Even though everyone is assuming that somehow everyone lost in the Snap will be restored, it is becoming clear there will still be a high price to pay.

The new Avengers: Infinity War Blu-ray and digital releases contain a host of bonus features including a powerful writers’ commentary which is packed with revelations – and ominous warnings for the final movie.

Especially for one beloved character.

Fans should prepare for a “fitting” but final end for Chris Evans’ always honourable Steve Rogers, aka Captain America. He played a crucial but surprisingly small role in Infinity War, although the writers revealed it was almost even smaller.

Stephen McFeely: “There was a point, there was a draft, where that tackle (of Corvus Glaive in Wakanda) was Cap’s first appearance in the movie. They called us insane.”

Christopher Markus: “It was not satisfying.”

McFeely: “He was VERY underground.”

They promise that Avengers 4 will feature a lot more of the original Avenger.

Christopher Markus said: “We have a unique opportunity here. There are certainly other movies that have done it, but we know we have two movies to tell character arcs. Some characters are going to be better served in the second story.

“I think it’s OK to say that Cap has a big story in the second one.”

Evans’ original Marvel contract was set to expire after Avengers: Infinity War, but he was unsurprisingly happy to do one more movie. The star has already said he wanted to do  Avengers 4 because it was going to “wrap everything up.”

MovieWeb adds: “It sounds like he’s going to be sent off in fashion.”

Fans are bracing themselves for Cap’s big storyline to either feature his death, or a miraculous return to the end of his first movie, where this time he gets to live happily ever after with Peggy.

AVENGERS 4 IS OUT ON APRIL 27, 2019
