Audi is launching a new electric concept car that will be unveiled towards the end of the month.
It is a new supercar concept teased in a new image revealing a sleek new silhouette.
The carmaker is blending performance with an electric drivetrain, which are known for their rapid acceleration potential.
Audi will reveal the vehicle at the 2018 Pebble Beach Car Week in California.
Pebble Beach Car Week is an annual event held in Monterey ever August and is renowned for displaying exquisite vehicles.
Already confirmed for the event is the Bugatti Divo, the supposed successor to the Chiron and now Audi hopes the PB E-Tron will make a splash.
Named after the even and year, the car will be something that could resemble future models.
Its styling is said to be inspired by the LeMans-series winner Audi R18 E-Tron and was developed at the new Malibu Design Loft.
The concept car will then be shown at the legendary vehicle presentation “The Quail” on August 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Audi will also launch the E-Tron, its first electric SUV, on September 17, before it goes to market in 2019.
The car will look to rival the Tesla Model X and will be powered by a 95kWh battery pack and two electric motors which has a total power output of 320kW.
It is expected to achieve real-world range of around 250-miles on a single charge.
Starting prices for the car in Europe are expected to start around €80,000.
