Up against James Braxton in Trossachs, Christina was hoping to source the best item to secure her an auction win.
Meeting friendly Jock and Franco from Narducci Antiques, Christina smiled and asked the pair if one of them would be interested in sourcing items.
As the eager flirtatious pair both put their hand up, the stunned expert gasped: “Oh! Come on then guys. Let’s go and have a look around.”
Hoping for some inspirational words of wisdom from the collectors, Christina began a tour of the shop.
However, Jock and Franco had other ideas and began pestering her with every item they saw – or were hoping to shift from their shop.
Franco said: “A lovely… look at this vintage prop. It’s an old propeller from a plane but it has been converted to a clock.”
Unimpressed, Christina sighed: “Yeah… yeah,” as Jock said: “How about a lovely lady? We’ve got a lovely lady statue.”
Moving away swiftly, Christina said: “Okay… lovely. Yeah,” as Franco jumped in with: “A nice bottle of vintage brandy? Would that? No?”
Trying to keep proceedings pleasant, the BBC expert replied: “No, not so much. Not quite so early in the day maybe.”
The final straw came when the dealers suggested a thistle, as Christina huffed: “A thistle? What? No! Guys… I wonder whether James might need your help at the desk?”
Franco and Jock then left feeling unwelcome in their own shop, adding: “Okay, we’re not wanted Jock. We know when we’re not wanted,” as Christina pulled a face.
From the voiceover booth, Tim Wonnacott jibed: “Exit three old dogs. Alone at last!”
Antiques Road Trip continues tomorrow on BBC One at 4.30pm.
