Anthea Turner ‘in trouble’ amid Blue Peter badge sale as fan rages ‘Won't watch you again'

A Blue Peter badge is deemed a special award given to Blue Peter viewers and fans and can currently allow holders to gain free entry into over 200 Blue Peter badge attractions around the country.

Ex-Blue Peter presenter Anthea decided to sell a teddy bear equipped with one of the BBC’s prized possessions.

Voicing the show, Shane Richie quipped: “You’re not really meant to sell those are you?”

Michelle Heaton then raged: “You can’t sell a Blue Peter badge! That’s like selling my BRIT Award!”

Pricing her badge at £60, Anthea failed to sell her Blue Peter item.

Later in the show, Anthea clashed with Michelle over further rule-breaking.

Anthea sold £50 worth of items over FaceTime to DJ Chris Moyles, as Michelle gasped: “Surely that’s against the rules!”

She added: “Game on Anthea, I’m coming for you.”

Anthea also clashed with a fan after failing to sell a metal deer’s head, which Anthea promoted as an underwear holder, for £15.

As the customer stormed off, Anthea sold it to her boot sale neighbour for £15 as he gushed: “You look better here than you do on the telly.”

However, when Anthea’s original customer returned moments later to find she had accepted £15 from somebody else, she was far from happy.

Raising her walking stick at Anthea, she shouted: “I will not watch you no more! I’ll turn you off!”

Viewers instantly took to social media, with one viewer tweeting: “#StarBoot hope Anthea Turner meant clean bra and knickers were hanging on antlers…”

“I shan’t watch you any more – I’ll turn you off… yeah Anthea’s used to that #starbootsale,” posted another.

A third added: “Selling her BRIT Awards – sorry Paul Cattermole already beat you to that… #starbootsale.”

“It’s 2018 and there’s a show on TV about Anthea Turner selling old tat at a car boot. Stop this ride, I want to get off. #Starbootsale,” teased another.

A fifth added: “My friend had her nickers and bras on it .. unless your friend is Dita Von Teese you’ll get not much for it #starbootsale.”

“How has she sold anything she seems to be away more than she’s there #StarBootSale,” said another.

Star Boot Sale continues tomorrow on at 5.30pm.
