Amanda Holden was the first celebrity to be pranked by Britain Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec for the Undercover segment on their ITV show Ant & Dec Saturday Night Takeaway.
The actress, who regularly sells her homeware range on QVC, thought she was about to work another day on the set of the televised home shopping network.
However, mischievous Ant and Dec had other plans in mind and used the opportunity to “wreak havoc”.
In fact, the Geordie duo did everything possible to cause chaos and complications behind the scenes.
The crafty pair took their pranking ways to new heights and pulled out all the stops to cause a frenzy at the mother-of-two’s shoot.
Clearly going all out for their first practical joke of the series, Ant and Dec had discarded dirty cups and had banana skins scattered around the seemingly brand new set.
Not stopping there, the long-time friends also glued a drawer shut and dropped furniture, all of which left Amanda horrified and desperate to cut to a commercial break.
At one point a visibly stunned Amanda could be seen gasping in absolute horror after seeing the despicable state of the studio.
Later the TV presenter was shown running from the scene when a cabinet suddenly fell to the ground.
Yet the most daring moment came when Ant and Dec invaded the set in the middle of one of Amanda’s broadcasts.
Hiding behind a pillar in the studio, the men watched as their elaborate and hilarious plan fell into place.
Eventually, the pair put Amanda out of her misery and came clean about the entire ordeal.
Naturally, Amanda was outraged by the revelation and even let her mouth hang wide open in shock.
In the past, Ant and Dec have pranked a host of famous faces including Olly Murs, Simon Cowell, James Corden and Bear Grylls.
Last year, the award-winning duo totally ruined Jamie Oliver’s visit to one of his Italian restaurants.
Ant and Dec carried out a number of comical stunts on the restauranteur, which included photo-bombing his press picture, sabotaging his cocktail and staging a fake interview.
Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway returns to ITV this Saturday at 7pm.
