The 35-year-old starred in Neighbours from 2005 – 2007 as bitchy nurse Katya Kinski.
Katya caused huge ripples in Ramsay Street when she initially arrived in Erinsboruough to visit her terminally ill father, Alex.
During her stay, she locked horns with both Susan (Jackie Woodbine) and Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) over custody of her siblings.
However, she was soon distracted when her lover Robert Robinson (Adam Hunter) turned out to be a psychopath who tried to kill her, stalk her and kidnapped her.
After a turbulent time in the Aussie neighbourhood, Katya understandably fled the scene for a new life.
As for actress Dichen, she’s starring in the massive new Netflix series Altered Carbon, tipped to be the biggest success story of 2018.
Dichen stars as Reileen Kalahari in the huge futuristic production about murder, love, sex and betrayal, set more than 300 years in the future.
Altered Carbon cast: Who stars in the new Netflix series?
The drama is set in a world transformed by technology where consciousness can be digitised, human bodies are interchangeable and death is no longer permanent.
A giant corporation has developed the technology to download the human consciousness and place it in storage so it can be transferred to new human bodies over and over again.
Takeshi Kovacs (played by both Joel Kinnaman and Will Yun Lee) is the lone surviving soldier in a group of elite interstellar warriors who were defeated in an uprising against the new world order.
According to show creators, his mind was imprisoned on ice for centuries until the incredibly wealthy Laurens Bancroft (James Purefoy) offers Kovacs the chance to live again. In exchange, Kovacs has to solve Bancroft’s own murder.
