A Place in the Sun: ‘Oh come on!’ Jasmine Harman GOBSMACKED after buyer’s demand

A Place in the Sun saw Jasmine Harman taking on a brand new couple this evening in the form of Steve and Sandra.

The couple were looking for a permanent home to live in after they retire in the coming years.

Although with this in mind, the couple were very particular about what they wanted in a Spanish home.

And Jasmine struggled to find the perfect home for the couple, as they seemed to find a problem with every home they were shown.

Whereas one apartment had a kitchen deemed too small by the couple, another saw Sandra saying there weren’t enough windows.

But eventually Jasmine found something good enough for the couple, as one property seemed to tick all the boxes for Steve and Sandra.

After being blown away by the town house, Jasmine cheekily asked the couple: “How do you beat this one then?”

To which Steve replied: “I don’t know if you can…”

However he went on to joke: “Maybe with a garage?”

But Jasmine was a little stunned by this announcement, after working so hard to find a property the couple would be happy with.

Feigning outrage she yelled: “Oh come on! You give an inch!”

Despite this, Jasmine was eager to press on and find a property both Steve and Sandra would be 100 per cent happy with.

Determined to press on, she announced: “I think this will be hard to beat – but I’m going to give it my best shot!”

Jasmine did go on to find an even better house for the couple, however they ultimately decided to return to England and reassess what they were looking for in Spain.

Earlier this week Laura Hamilton was left a little shocked by a comment one of her guests made.

Judith, a woman looking for a summer home in Spain, was accompanied by her best friend Carol Ann during her quest for a property.

But Carol Ann was not easily impressed, and quickly began speaking about a number of issues she found with many of the properties.

To which Laura quipped: “It doesn’t sound like she’ll be visiting you here!”

But Judith went on to add: “Oh, well perhaps I should buy it then.”

Prompting a lighthearted reaction from Laura, who exclaimed: “Well that’s nice isn’t it!”

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
