For Sossamon, now 39, it was her first big screen role. So where have you seen her since?
In many places, in fact. On the big screen, she followed A Knight’s Tale with more movies such as 40 Days and 40 Nights, The Rules of Attraction and, in 2005, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
She also had a role in 2006 movie The Holiday, as well as the supernatural horror Sinister 2, released in 2015.
She’s also had lots of success on the small screen.
Most recently, Sossamon has been seen as Theresa Burke in the hit show Wayward Pines; on which she was a regular in season one and a recurring guest star in season two.
Appearing alongside the likes of Matt Dillon and Toby Jones, she earned a positive reception – and the show as a whole garnered generally favourable feedback from critics.
She was also in the supernatural drama series Sleepy Hollow; based loosely on the 1820 short story.
Sossamon played Pandora in season three, shooting 18 episodes altogether.
According to her IMDb page, she has two more projects currently in post-production: crime drama The Jesuit alongside Ron Perlman, and Ghost Light, a dark comedy alongside Roger Bart, Carol Kane and Tom Riley.
