The 35-year-old was the third person to get voted out of the ITV reality series on tonight’s gripping instalment, but when hosts Ant and Dec sat down for the customary exit interview they didn’t even mention her rivalry with Iain Lee.
The radio presenter has been embroiled in the middle of accusations against his campmates for “bullying” him following the task that saw him and Amir Khan, 30, steal the strawberries and cream prize.
Jamie Vardy’s wife and mother-of-four Becky hadn’t been shy about her belief that Iain had a long-winded “gameplan” for his stay in the jungle, unaware of the true events surrounding the Dingo Dollar challenge, and fans haven’t been impressed with her attitude in the competition.
Instantly taking to Twitter when the interview came to a close, people exploded with anger at ITV and the show’s hosts.
One person fumed: “Thank f**k one of the awful people have finally gone from #ImACeleb But why the f**k didn’t they show strawberry gate to b***hy Becky considering she was absolutely awful toward Iain non-stop?!”
“Why didn’t @antanddec tell Becky about Amir and strawberry gate, that wasn’t all Iain’s fault??? When she gave him stick. She has some apologies to do when they’re all out #imaceleb,” another angry viewer wrote.
A third agreed: “WHY DIDN’T THEY SHOW HER THE FUCKING STRAWBERRY THING?! #ImACeleb,” which was followed by: “They’ve mentioned strawberry gate with every single eliminee so far – Becky is the first one where it’s actually relevant to show her as she was one of the main t**ts towards Iain – but nothing. #imaceleb @imacelebrity #extracamp.”
“They should’ve shown Becky the video of Amir being the strawberry culprit since she gave Iain such a hard time #ImACeleb,” another viewer added.
Becky stuck to her guns when she appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Extra Camp with Joe Swash and Scarlett Moffatt.
“Honestly, he’s fake,” she started. “I’ve spent a lot of time with Iain and I was so careful about what I wanted to say about him but I didn’t.
“He’s got a game plan and I hate people that pretend to be something they’re not,” she raged.
