Thrifty Kate strikes again! Duchess re-wears £680 Goat dress-coat for Birmingham trip

Kate Middleton, 35, stepped out on Solihull today – showing off just a hint of her baby bump in a chic black head-to-toe look.

She wore a black wool swing coat with white military details around the cuffs, neck, and on the back. It’s not the first time fans have seen the star in this stunning coat.

Kate wore the jacket back in 2014 in New York when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte.

The loose coat meant the Duchess’s growing baby bump was mostly hidden, and only a hint of it could be detected.

Underneath the Duchess wore black skinny jeans and on-trend black knee-high boots with a two-inch heel.

Kate also carried a small black clutch bag in her left hand as she reached out to shake the hands of those she met at Jaguar Land Rover’s factory.

The Duchess’s hair was curled, and her shapeup was subtle and pretty.

She wore a pair of drop earrings with a heart-like shape dangling from the bottom.

Kate was joined by Prince William at the event, who wore navy trousers, a will jacket, a tie and brown desert boots.

Today’s visit was announced on Kensington Palace’s Twitter account today

Their day in the city is packed full of engagements, including a visit to Villa Park and the Jaguar Land Rover plant in Solihull.

After a tour of the site and hearing about the manufacturing process at Jaguar, the couple will head to the JLR Experience Centre where they will meet Mountain Rescue volunteers and have the opportunity to drive a vehicle in the off-road driving area.

They’ll then head to meet schoolchildren from Topcliffe primary School Castle Vale, who won a JLR school challenge to design a model car.

Kate has been wearing a lot of black recently, and she wore a black lace dress to the Queen’s anniversary celebration.

She also wore a pearl choker borrowed from the Queen.

The stunning necklace made from several strands of pearls, and fastened in the middle with a diamond clasp, which the Queen and Princess Diana has worn in the past.

It was similar to a gown she wore to a gala dinner in Kensington Palace.
