How to buy Adidas Dublin as queues line streets for trainers

Adidas often create trainers which go on to be cult classics, and now the Dublins are the latest style to get fans into a frenzy.

Where to buy Adidas Dublins

Trainer retailer Size? are selling the shoes, which cost £85.

Branches in Cambridge, Dublin, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, London, Manchester and Nottingham are stocking them.

They are also available to buy online, although depending on the colour, stock is already severely limited.

The retro style trainers are being re-released as part of Size store’s exclusive Archive Collection.

Anyone who managed to get their hands on them when they launched this morning should consider themselves lucky.

Stock is limited, and there are several pairs on eBay selling for up to £400.

Writing about the exclusive collection their blog, Size? wrote: “So this is the release we know a lot of you have been waiting for.

“The coveted adidas Originals Dublin is finally making a return to the spotlight, and we’re pleased to be the exclusive retailer to help bring it back out of the archive.

“The original Dublin first released in 1976, as a part of the much lauded after adidas Originals City Series. For those who’ve not encountered the collection before, the City Series was a substantial range of lightweight training shoes, with each named after a European city initially.

“This series eventually evolved to include exotic islands and cities across the pond, and others incorporated colourways significant to their namesake.

“Across the series, certain base silhouettes were sometimes replicated for different cities, with the Dublins slim shape also used on the London, Berlin and Köln.”

Trainers often sell out, and recently a pair of Reebok classic fur trainers had shoppers in a frenzy.

Released in a pink and purple colour, the Reebok Classic x Local Heroes NPC II trainers were a hit on social media.

Crafted from premium leather and available pastel pink and purple, the trainers featured distinct faux fur panels on the uppers.

For those looking for an edgy look they also featured a detachable heart-shaped keychain with Local Heroes logo, metallic accents and tie-dye printed insoles.
