X Factor 2017: Shocked viewers MOCK Harry Styles’ OUTFIT during performance of new single

Harry Styles appeared on the live show on Saturday night to perform his new single, Kiwi.

While the audience screamed as the star appeared back on the same stage that made him famous, many fans at home reacted to his choice of outfit on social media, comparing his style choice to that of Rolling Stones legend, Mick Jagger.

The fashion-icon styled a mustard yellow suit which caused more reaction than his performance.

One fan took to Twitter to say: “Someone tell Harry Styles he isn’t Mick Jagger.”

Another wrote: ”Harry Styles is the 99p shop Mick Jagger.”

Speaking to X Factor host, Dermot O’Leary, Harry said: “It’s great to be back! I thank the show for birthing me!”

Fans didn’t hold back when tweeting the 23-year-old, with one saying: “Harry Styles has rebirthed into a Mick Jagger tribute act – minus lips and energy…”

Another posted: “What the f***, Harry Styles looks like a giant mustard sachet, whats he wearing on the X Factor.”

One fan even said: “Harry Styles The Mask called he said can he have his suit back.”

The public was, however, impressed with Harry’s solo performance, with one fan tweeting: “Harry Styles is far better on his own IMO.”

The former One Direction lead-singer decided to pursue a solo career back in 2016 after he signed a recording contract with Columbia Records.

Another fan of the fashion-forward star said: “Harry Styles just sold me on his solo career. Killer performance. Loved it, loved it, loved it.”

This comes after a fan threw what appeared to be a fruit at the singer during a performance in London on Monday.

Harry told the audience: “You may have seen me fall earlier during this song… it appeared to be a kiwi.”

Harry’s debut album jumped back into the Top 20 this week after it was Number One back in May.
