Avengers Infinity War LEAK: Thor's Asgard to be WIPED OUT by Thanos in bloody scene?

The epic superhero movie is already a few weeks into filming in Scotland, with stars like Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans returning to their roles as Iron Man and Captain America.

Avengers: Infinity War is set to boast 67 Marvel characters across two films, which in total with be the most expensive movie ever made at a whopping £400 million.

Now casting calls for extras in Atlanta, Georgia have been released and they have some very specific requirements that hint at a major scene in the new movie.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Marvel are looking for men and women of any ethnicity who look between 18 and 50s.

They would especially like men with long hair and beards and those submitting to be extras such put “VIKING” in the subject line of the email.

Fans of Marvel will agree that its almost certainly the Asgardians who are being cast as extras here – suggesting a major scene on Asgard during Avengers Infinity War.

However, it’s the next part of the job description that is really rather chilling.

It continues: “You’ll need to be comfortable with fake blood and with wearing special effects makeup.”

This disturbing addition suggests there will be a big battle on Asgard with many of the extras playing corpses.

Knowing that Josh Brolin’s Thanos plays a major role in the movie, it would not be farfetched to speculate he intends on wiping out the planet.

After all in the comics, having gathered the Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to wipe out half the universe to impress Hela, the Asgardian goddess of death.

The latter character will be introduced in Thor: Ragnarok, played by Cate Blanchett.

Perhaps he will succeed in committing genocide on Asgard, before the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy team up to defend Earth from Thanos? – Fans will have to wait and see.

Avengers Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018.
