GMB viewers flip out as Piers Morgan is suddenly REPLACED: ‘Where is he?’

The fiery 52-year-old hosts the ITV show with Susanna Reid every Monday through to Wednesday, but today his roaring voice was noticeably absent.

Instead, Susanna, 46, was joined by Richard Madeley, who temporarily filled in for Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain over the summer.

Susanna enthused that it was delightful to work with the former This Morning host for the first time.

However, viewers flocked to Twitter in their droves to ask: “Where is Piers Morgan?”

“Missing Piers, this morning!!! Oh, ITV you could have picked someone a bit more lively than Richard…,” said one audience member, while another pleaded: “@GMB where is Piers? wed morn is now not the same start to my day!”

A third cried: “Where is Piers? Hope he’s back tomorrow. Is he coming back?” while another simply noted: “Missing Piers.”

Though, others were delighted by a Morgan-free morning, with one posting: “@GMB no @piersmorgan on a Wednesday, what a treat #disappiers.”

Another echoed: “It’s great turning on @GMB and finding Richard Madeley on TV instead of Piers.”

Piers told audiences he wouldn’t be filling his usual slot today while Susanna explained her co-host was “off for a few days”.

ITV have since confirmed Piers is “on leave”.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
