Dan, 40, put Eddie, 29, on the spot as he asked him if he thought he could lift him over his head after watching a video of the weight lifter doing the same thing with four girls and another two men in the gym.
As the presenter made his way over to Eddie, Louise shouted in the background: “We’re not running out of time, don’t worry Dan!”
She could then be seen looking on in shock as Dan was launched above Eddie’s head while he nervously held onto the red sofa for a bit of support.
Eddie then joked: “I think we should’ve practiced this beforehand, eh?” as Dan was lifted even higher.
A clapping Louise sighed “utterly unbelievable…” as Dan fell down to his feet, before she added: “Eddie Hall thank you very much indeed, that’s one of the most extraordinary things, and I’ve seen some extraordinary things here on Breakfast.”
Dan joked: “That was a lot of fun. I’ll do the same to you now right?” before he continued: “I think I pulled my groin!”
Today’s show, being as eventful as ever, also saw Dan question whether his co-presenter was going to “smash him over the head with a frying pan”.
Louise asked Dan why he thought she had the kitchen utensil in her hand, as he unknowingly replied: “Are you going to smash me about the head with it?”
However, she was quick to insist: “Of course I would never do that Dan!”
Louise then went on to explain: “The reason is, we’ve got the World’s Strongest Man coming in later and apparently, I cannot believe it because this is a proper weighty frying pan…” before she motioned that he was going to bend the pan in half.
“You demanded to see it wasn’t a joke frying pan…” Dan continued, as Louise replied: “I wanted to see…I mean, this is a heavy frying pan.”
